I would suggest getting this game because it has a big change from its older self, Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. i'm wondering if this could be the problem? i've tried the same two game files on DeSmuME, and i do not have the same problem that i do with No$GBA. The controls on Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are very similar to its predecessors, with the added touch screen to make it a little easier. This prevents any sort of automatic-linking for SoulLink runs, but wont prevent you from manually specifying that a pokémon was a static encounter. what happens, is the game starts to load, and then just stops on the black screen. For sure, static encounter detection is only available for HeartGold/SoulSilver. i have been trying to play soulsilver and heartgold on the No$GBA emulator, and everything seems to work fine, until right after the intro where you type in your name etc. I am new to the whole emulator scene and i am having a few problems, as you might expect.
